David John has answers to some of the city’s most burning questions.
The organizer of the ESP Psychic Fair, which was in the Thunder Bay for the past four days at the Airlane Hotel, took a couple of minutes on Sunday and looked into the future.
When asked by tbnewswatch.com if a new events centre would be constructed in the next five years, John responded he feels it will happen and seemed to be in touch with the divisive nature of the project. “I sense the city really needs it. I feel a lot of pros and cons weighing it and it swinging back and forth,” he said. “I have a feeling it’s going to come.”
The city must have been giving off strong development vibes, as John also predicts a Costco location will open in Thunder Bay when asked.
He also expects Ontario voters to be heading to the polls later this spring.
John said he senses Premier Kathleen Wynne has had a “rough road” and that it will ultimately result in an election.
When asked specific questions, like those three, John would rather be kept in the dark. He says the less he knows beforehand the better, as it may influence his prediction. “It’s like when somebody is going to be on a jury. They don’t want them hearing anything,” he said. “It’s the same thing with a psychic. You don’t really want to hear because you’re trying to be uninfluenced when you’re doing the reading.”
While he will answer those direct questions, John prefers to read palms and cards to get a sense for an individual’s life.
While travelling across the country, he does approximately 30 readings per fair.
Most of the people are curious for answers regarding relationships, finances, health and work. “When I do palms one part shows up as personal life and the other part shows up as a public life. We have two lives,” he said.
