THUNDER BAY -- Three-hundred local high school students are showcasing more than 300 works of art at the Thunder Bay Art Gallery's student art exhibition.
The annual event allows the students to showcase their work in a professional gallery for the first time.
Ten schools participated in this year's exhibit. The students work closely with teachers to create their pieces, then their art is judged to determine the best creations to showcase.
Two Churchill students had multiple pieces accepted into the gallery this year.
They say it's an honour to showcase their work in a professional setting and it inspires them to continue with their passion.
The exhibit opened this week, and runs until June 15.
