Thunder Bay Human Resources Professionals are Excited to Host Employment & Labour Law Conference, May 5th & 6th
Thunder Bay, April 26, 2016: The Human Resources Professionals Association – Northwestern Ontario Chapter (HRPANO) and the Human Resources Professionals Association (HRPA) are excited to be hosting the 2016 HR Employment & Labour Law Conference on Thursday, May 5 and Friday, May 6th at the Victoria Inn in Thunder Bay.
The 2016 HR Employment and Labour Law Conference will challenge the way employers think about human resources. The conference will feature speakers and subject-matter experts from prominent law firms in Thunder Bay and Toronto, such as Bernardi HR Law and Rubin Thomlinson, speaking on a variety of subjects, from the latest case law to social media in the workplace and much more. The discussion will be lively and the information and material will be useful.
“Our mission is to ensure our members and the wider business community have opportunities for professional development, networking and mutual support,” said Jill Symington, HRPANO President. “That’s why we encourage all in the business community to keep abreast of the most pertinent issues and join us on May 5th & 6th,” said Symington.

The conference will run from 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM on May 5th and May 6th at the Victoria Inn. Cost to attend for HRPA members is $200+HST for the full two days or $150+HST for one day. Student members pay $100+HST for the full two days or $75+HST for one day. And non-members pay $300+HST for the full two days or $200+HST for one day.
HRPANO is a chapter of HRPA, the professional regulatory body and association for Human Resources professionals in Ontario. HRPA oversees more than 20,000 members in 28 chapters across the province.
