Northwest Employment Works (NEW) will be hosting its annual Summer Job Kick Off event on Wednesday evening at Confederation College. The event is designed to support students ages 15-29 in securing summer employment.
Students will have the opportunity to receive assistance with the development of their resumes and cover letters, learn job search techniques and the first steps to career planning, understand employer expectations and employment standards, participate in health and safety workshops and get interview tips.
