THUNDER BAY - Thunder Bay high school students went head-to-head Wednesday in a business competition held at Hammarskjold High School.

It's Thunder Bay Ventures' 7th annual Enter the Den competition, a business plan contest for the city's high school students.

More than 100 applicants had been narrowed down to just five in the final presentations.

Of the five finalists, 16-year-old Aja Mayer walked away with the grand prize of $1,500.

The Manager of Thunder Bay Ventures, Royden Potvin says their goal is to support entrepreneurship among high school students.

Mayer says her prize money will be used towards developing her business this summer.
