THUNDER BAY - A pair of charity events will be back this year at the annual Ribfest in the downtown north core.
Red River Rumble is teaming up with Thunder by the Lake to help support a local organization.
Organizers are expecting over 100 antique cars and motorcycles to be on site for the two events on Aug 28.
The organizers will be donating proceeds from their events to Our Kids Count.
It's an organization dedicated to helping local parents care for their children.
Executive Director Gladys Berringer said they're lucky to be the recipient of the money raised during the Ribfest weekend.
Last year, around $40-thousand was raised for Our Kids Count during Ribfest weekend, and organizers are hoping to beat that this year.
