THUNDERBAY - Stress levels are high for Thunder Bay high school students as exam week approaches.
Students at Westgate are getting help busting their exam blues, by calling in some furry friends.
Four puppies were welcomed with open arms by the Westgate students this morning.
They were brought in by the school's Wellness Group, a team of 15 students promoting positive mental health.
With exams around the corner, the group has planned a number activities to help their peers combat stress, including pet therapy.
Public Health Nurse Shelley Drobet said the initiative was really spearheaded by students, for students.
The Wellness Group says this is the second year they've hosted a pet therapy session with puppies.
